Quit Lab · Cohort 1 · 30 August 2026
You're the professional everyone thinks has it together.
Inside, you know something isn't working. You've been performing, adapting, pushing through — but the clarity isn't coming. Quit Lab is a small-group coaching program for high performers who are ready to stop managing around the problem and make the call.

Is this you?
You're good at the work. You're not sure it's still the right work.
By every external measure, you're doing well. Inside, there's a persistent sense that some of what's on your plate doesn't belong there anymore — and you can't quite put your finger on what to cut.
There's a decision you've been circling for months — a role, a project, a commitment — and the more you think about it, the less clear it gets. You're starting to wonder if thinking harder is even the right move.
You've found another gear before. You've pushed through before. You're quietly wondering if "push through" is actually the right answer to this one.
What you need isn't more motivation or another productivity system. You need a clear read on what's actually going on — and someone to help you make the call.
The real problem
You've got grit. The question is whether you're pointing it at the right thing.
Grit is how you got here — and it's exactly why you're stuck. At some point the question stops being how do I push harder and starts being should I even be pushing this?
Knowing when walking away is the boldest move you'll ever make — that's a different skill entirely.
What is Quit Lab?
A structured way to make the call — with a coach and a small group who actually get it.
Quit Lab is a 4-week small-group coaching program built on the Permission to Quit framework — the same methodology behind the book of the same name.
We work through a structured diagnostic of your professional situation: where are you spending your time, what's a real signal and what's just noise, and what's the decision you've been avoiding? Four weeks of focused work on your actual situation, with a coach and a small cohort of peers navigating the same kind of decision. The goal isn't more information. It's clarity — and a call.
You'll finish with a clear read on where you stand — and a decision, or the framework to make one.
Based on Permission to Quit
The strategic framework for knowing when walking away is the boldest move you'll ever make. Published August 2026. You don't need to read it first — but most Quit Lab participants will recognise themselves in it.
What's included
Three things that get you to a decision.
Your coach
Karl
Business & Leadership Coach · KGP Coaching & Consulting · Sydney
Karl grew up alongside the technology revolution — from typing code off magazine pages on a computer his dad built in a shed, to forty years of industry shifts that reshaped the way organisations work. He started at the bottom: sweeping floors at a computer store while still at school, working his way through sales, technology wholesale distribution and eventually corporate — often holding two or three roles at once. He was never scared of the work.
He's made the Permission to Quit call himself. From roles, commitments, things he was good at that no longer fit. Some were clean. Some cost him. All of it became the foundation for what's in this program.
The coaching instinct showed up long before the credentials. Across his career he has led sales teams, presales teams, and ran a state operation — and in every role, he found himself drawn to coaching, mentoring and developing the people around him more than anything else the role required. The same thread runs through his work with customers — consultative and solution selling, listening, finding the real problem beneath the stated one, helping someone make a decision with clarity. That instinct now runs in parallel: a career as a Solutions Architect, and a coaching practice built on everything that career taught him.
The NLP Practitioner and Masters of Life Coaching certifications he completed in 2024 didn't create the coach. They gave the coach a framework. He is a member of the ICF — the International Coaching Federation — and aligns his practice, methods and approach to their ethics and standards.
Permission to Quit isn't theory. It's documentation. Quit Lab is where it meets your situation.

Questions
A few things people ask.
I haven't read the book yet. Does that matter?
Not at all. The program is completely self-contained. The book gives you the full theory behind the framework — but everything you need is built into the four weeks.
What if I can't make a live session?
All sessions are recorded and available to all cohort members. That said, being live on the call with like-minded people working through similar decisions is a big part of what makes this different. Cohort 1 members also get access to a private WhatsApp group to keep the conversation going between sessions.
Do I have to be thinking about leaving my job?
No. Quit Lab is for anyone asking themselves whether they should keep going, change direction, or stop investing in something altogether. The framework works across all of them. Some people finish and stay. They just do it on purpose, with clear eyes.
Is this therapy or coaching?
Coaching. Quit Lab is a structured program designed to help you think clearly about a professional decision — it is not therapy, and it does not replace professional mental health support.
Why is it only $97?
Cohort 1 is a beta program. The reduced price reflects that — and what's being asked in return. Joining at this price means committing to sharing your experience: a case study, a testimonial, or honest feedback that helps shape future cohorts. You get the full program. In return, your story helps build it. Future cohorts will be priced higher.
The call won't make itself.
